Mental Health

Hello! I’m Elizabeth (she/they). I find joy in sharing my experiences with mental health and having autism.

Parenthood

I’m a stay-at-home twin parent. I’m continuously growing and learning for my children. Writing helps me reflect on my experiences, feel less isolated as a parent, and share what I’ve learned along the way.

House Spouse

I’m a spouse that works from the house. From creating to advocacy, my home is my primary workspace. And I live on a rural farm, so it gets interesting. And I have some fascinating adventures and hobbies… so its nice to have a safe place to write about it all.

This is my reality right now. My excitement has been stolen and replaced with foggy numbness. A time for excitement  Each year before the… Read more

Dear You, Who Might Also Be Depressed

Some blog posts are planned far in advance while others spill from my mind and into my keyboard immediately for you to see. This one is spilling. This one is for the people who feel stuck. Coping with OCD at ComicCon

Comic Book Conventions give fans the opportunity to meet the celebrities they admire. It’s an exciting time but it can also be a difficult time for a fan that lives with a mental illness. I attended two Comic Book Conventions this month, both were enjoyable, but they also came with struggles. I want to share… Read more

Art That Inspires Me: Artist Feature, Vol. 1

Creativity takes courage and expressing vulnerability through art takes true bravery. I love art, and I want to show appreciation for the art that I’ve enjoyed this month. I’m a blogger but my motivation was lacking this month. I didn’t publish much new blog work in February, but I did share a lot of art… Read more
